Ankur Kumar

Ankur Kumar is an indian art creator, philanthropist, energetic preacher, environmentalist, memoirist, and a versatile artist known for his contributions to the visual arts.

Education and Career

In 2011, Kumar graduated as a Gold Medalist with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from Jamia Millia Islamia University. He furthered his academic journey by earning a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) with top honors from Lovely Professional University in 2013. In 2017, Kumar achieved the JRF/NET (Joint Research Fellowship/National Eligibility Test) from the University Grant Commission (UGC).

Work Style

His body of work is a harmonious blend of conceptual and abstract tachisme, expressed through a diverse range of artistic mediums including paintings, drawings, printmaking, photography, sculpture, ceramics, creative installations, tribal art, and folk art.

His most famous paintings are in ink, Acrylic Colors, pastel and Mix Media. He has painted in oil medium as well.In addition to his paintings, he is also known for his Sustainable medium and abstract Drawings.
